About

The Youth for Environment, Education and Development Foundation (YFEED Foundation) is the organization of young individual people of Nepal is specifically evolving the rights of youth including indigenous youth in the country. It aims to empower the indigenous youth by raising awareness and educating the young people on various subjects confronting them and their communities; facilitating exchange of information and experiences among and between youths, various groups and sectors; and organizing the indigenous youth in the country by providing platforms, venues and spaces for their participation in local, national, regional and international processes. The organization has mission to strengthen youth voice for inclusive democracy, make dialogues with policy makers and stake holders to better have youth rights, employment opportunities ensured. Furthermore, its mission is also to enable indigenous youth and communities to demand and exercise their human rights, such as right against poverty by way of educating, organizing and mobilizing basic right in human rights promoting actions; research and evidence-based policy advocacy; providing technical services; socio-economic empowerment and promoting socially responsible inclusive growth and fair development. Additionally, its mission also includes the internalization of child, adolescent and indigenous youth sensitization for protection and promotion of their human rights, focusing on their empowerment and involvement in social programs to bring lasting peace and prosperity in Nepal.

Organization Vision

Our vision is to build a model society in which every youth, adolescent and child including young indigenous people live a dignified life without any form of discrimination, exploitation and injustice, and in which they are fully conscious about their rights. Our vision is also to contribute towards the development of a fair and unbiased society by strengthening the capacity of the community members, promoting social justice, securing human rights and establishing peace. The YFEED Foundation also envisions fair, democratic and prosperous Nepal where all youth and indigenous youth realize their all fundamental human rights and freedoms.
